Calibrating manometers
At the Calibration Laboratory for Ventilation Measuring Instruments, manometers, as well as converters of relative and differential pressure, are calibrated with model hydrostatic micromanometers and high-precision electronic manometers and barometers. All these devices have certificates of calibration issued by the Central Office of Measures and accredited laboratories.
As part of its accredited service, the Laboratory performs calibrations of manometers by comparison with:
- the MINISKOP 5 hydrostatic micromanometer within the measurement range of (0 ÷ 5) kPa, with the uncertainty of 0.0019 kPa
- the DIPTRON 4 electronic manometer within the measurement range of (5 ÷ 20) kPa, with the uncertainty of 0.009 kPa, and the measurement range of (20 ÷ 200) kPa, with the uncertainty of 0.13 kPa.
Barometers with the measurement range of (200 ÷ 1200) hPa and the uncertainty of 0.14 hPa are calibrated by means of the DRUCK DPI 142 electronic barometer.
